Tuesday 28th September

Des19ncor is an engineering consultancy specialising in communication products, industrial products, gas & oil products and water industry products. They are offering two secondment opportunities with their hydrogen fuel sensor project.
Mace 10:30-11:00 – DBAB0002f
Mace is a global company involved in development, consultancy, construction, and operations. They are offering up to two secondments to work on their Innovation Roadmap.
Tyseley Energy Park 11:30-12:00 – DBAB0002c
Tyseley Energy Park is the convergence of and collaboration between academia, industry and the public sector focused on creating solutions to drive carbon reduction across: heat, transport, recycling and energy systems. In the first instance they are looking for someone to scope a sustainability plan for Tyseley Energy Park. This could lead to a longer secondment opportunity.
Wednesday 29th September
Adjacency 14:00-14:30 – DBAB0002d
Adjacency is an SME based at the Warwick Manufacturing Group, working on low cost / high performance / fully circular composite materials for automotive light-weighting and potentially hydrogen pressure vessels. They have collaborations with University of Birmingham through the ATETA programme and are looking to co-create a secondment opportunity with C-DICE postdoctoral researchers.

Alternative Raw Materials with Low Impact (ARLI) is a EU funded projected led by the University of Birmingham which offers funded advice and technical support to eligible SMEs across a large part of the West Midlands. They are looking to offer multiple placement and secondment opportunities.
