The Vice-Chancellor’s Awards are an annual awards ceremony to recognise, honour and celebrate members of the Loughborough University community who have achieved amazing things. Now in its second year, these awards recognise the ways staff have demonstrated their commitment to the University aims and values, especially around togetherness.

The C-DICE team were proud to receive the Collaborative Research and Innovation Award this year – aimed specifically at those driving forward collaborative partnerships across an institutional theme. The nomination credited C-DICE as being an embodiment of the type of programme the university is seeking to lead through the new strategy; building a strong national and international reputation for climate change and net zero development; connecting and creating a vibrant and inclusive community of researchers and contributing to progress towards a just transition to a decarbonised world.
