NPDC23 Conference Outputs Now Available To View

The National Postdoc Conference, hosted on 19 September 2023 by C-DICE at Loughborough University welcomed postdoctoral researchers from around the country to a full day of sessions – helping them to navigate their postdoc journey and thrive in their current role and beyond. The conference theme was ‘Postdoc Transitions and New Horizons’ – engaging delegates with a wide variety of talks and workshops.

A selection of outputs from the conference are now available to view, including recordings of the plenary sessions, visual summaries and the Concordat Round Table discussion. Also included are a photo gallery from the event and the award winners whose work was given recognition at NPDC23.

Research England Executive Chair Dame Jessica Corner gives an insight into the forthcoming REF2028 and explains some of the changes we can expect, some of which are designed to change research culture in universities and consequently recognise the work of postdocs and support staff in research. British Academy Chief Executive Hetan Shah discusses some of funding opportunities in the British Academy and how to access them. Dr Oliver Cox and Dr Lucy Bradnock give fascinating insights on their own postdoc journeys from their arts and humanities backgrounds.
