Equality, diversity and inclusion in research planning, proposals and practice – Wednesday 2 November 1.30pm to 3pm
Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) is a core issue in research and higher education. UKRI recognises EDI as an organisational priority, as do other funding bodies. Sign up to this workshop to learn how to embed EDI into your research, and to strengthen your research proposals and deliver it in practice when you win the grant. Join members of the C-DICE team along with Sarah Macmillan (EPS, Research Facilitator) and Professor Ian Jefferson (EPS, Deputy Head of College) from the University of Birmingham.
In this online workshop, you will:
- Explore ways to develop inclusive cultures in research
- Learn to embed EDI into research grant writing
- Review scenarios and case studies
- …And start to plan your own next steps
The workshop is recommended if you’re putting together a C-DICE Sandpit proposal or if you’re applying for a C-DICE Fellowship.
