Win £30K in the C-DICE sandpit on dispersed industrial decarbonisation

The C-DICE sandpit is a unique development activity for postdoctoral researchers to learn how to write quality research proposals and win £30K to do the research. The topic for the next sandpit, organised in partnership with The Association for Decentralised Energy, is about decarbonising fossil fuel-dependent industrial sites. This sandpit will enable postdocs to create a research proposal on the barriers and opportunities to alternative energy sources for dispersed industry and inform policy for a net zero future. Research proposals emerging from the sandpit may include technological or policy-based approaches. Postdocs working in STEM subjects are encouraged to take part, but we also welcome those with expertise in energy systems, energy resilience, energy policy and economics from other subject areas. All are welcome!
