Writing Retreat – 9th and 10th June

Do you have a writing project to complete, but you are struggling to find the dedicated time that is required for academic writing?

This 2-day online writing retreat for C-DICE affiliated postdocs is the perfect opportunity to block out dedicated time in your diary, away from meetings and other distractions to focus 100% on completing your writing.  The event is free of charge.

Your writing project can be anything that you’re currently working on, it may be funding application (grant or fellowship), or a research output (manuscript, report, conference presentation) or something related to your own professional development (HEA accreditation application, personal research vision). You can attend the retreat irrespective of the current stage of the writing project; idea generation, planning, writing, editing, proofing, rewriting, responding to reviewer comments.

Our only requirement is that you have a clear aim and goal(s) for what you will accomplish during the Writing Retreat.

This event will enable you to ring-fence your time and make significant progress with your writing project.  You will be surrounded, virtually, by fellow researchers with the same ambition.
