C-DICE Sprint Winners Announced

C-DICE Sprint Winners Announced

C-DICE Early Career Researcher Networking Sprints Winners: Following on from the success of the C-DICE sandpits, we introduced C-DICE Early Career Researcher Networking Sprints – a two-day intense workshop to support early career researchers in developing networks, collaborations, and research proposals. We recently organised three new sprints including a new addition to our programme  – international sprints.

The UK sprint explored scenario-based systems approaches to advance net zero. Leveraging the extensive network of the Modern Energy Cooking Services programme, we also held sprints in Nepal and Rwanda. The Nepal sprint focussed on networks to support energy efficient and less polluting cooking methods, while the Rwanda sprint looked at networks to support energy storage where supply is intermittent..

In essence, the C-DICE Networking Sprint functions like a mini sandpit. It’s a great way for postdocs and early career researcher to create networks and collaborate. To support this, each sprint has a prize fund of £5,000 to help the winning team develop their network.  We are delighted to announce the winners of the sprints:
