C-DICE Wins Vitae Impact, Culture and Engagement (ICE) Award for Innovative and Inclusive Practice!
We are delighted to share that C-DICE won the award for the Innovative and Inclusive Practice Award at the Vitae Impact, Culture, and Engagement (ICE) Awards – for developing innovative approaches to support inclusivity for postdoctoral researchers. This award champions excellent practice within researcher development that demonstrates inventive approaches to complex challenges, and that contributes towards achieving equity of access to researcher development opportunities and support.
The announcement was made at the Vitae ICE Awards ceremony during the Vitae conference Gala dinner on Monday 23 September at The Rep, Birmingham, UK. The second year of the Vitae Impact, Culture, and Engagement (ICE) Awards celebrated and highlighted the impactful and innovative work carried out by the researcher development community, acknowledging the significant contributions it makes towards helping researchers reach their full potential.
Dr Kathryn North, C-DICE Director, received the award and expressed her gratitude in being recognised by Vitae and the researcher developer community, and thanked Malcom Cook and Martin Freer for the nomination, and the fantastic work of the team at the consortium universities of Loughborough, Cranfield and Birmingham. Kathryn acknowledged the huge role of the researchers in engaging and making our job so rewarding, we know we’re doing something right when researchers tell us ‘C-DICE is home’…
