Opportunity to join the C-DICE Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Working Group
The C-DICE Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Working Group is looking for a volunteer from the postdoctoral community to join the Group.
EDI is integral to our definition of excellence and is embedded in all of our activities. Our dedicated EDI Working Group aims to develop and oversee the delivery of the EDI agenda of C-DICE. The group focuses on:
- taking actions to advance equality and equal access to opportunity,
- monitoring C-DICE’s performance on EDI
- removing any barriers and enhancing the participation of people with protected characteristics in our activities
- sharing best practice with EDI communities within all partner universities
Given that the development of postdoctoral researchers is at the centre of our efforts, their involvement in the EDI Working Group is crucial. We are strongly encouraging applications from postdoctoral researchers with protected characteristics. The volunteer will be joining a group of academics, researchers and professional services staff that meet every two months to monitor the EDI processes and ensure every aspect of C-DICE is inclusive and accessible to all. This will be an opportunity for the volunteer to share their insight and assist C-DICE to enhance existing processes, explore new opportunities to support EDI, and ultimately foster an inclusive and non-discriminatory environment.
Please apply via Inkpath.
Guidance on how to create an Inkpath account can be found at https://www.cdice.ac.uk/programme/inkpath/.
