UK National Postdoc Appreciation Week (UKNPAW) is back for its 5th anniversary!
UKNPAW is organised by volunteer postdocs/ex-postdocs and researcher developers across the UK and Republic of Ireland, with the aim to create a free and uplifting event, with as few barriers to entry as possible, for all Postdocs and researchers regardless of their discipline, background, and circumstances.
UKNPAW is back this year with a focus on how to authentically network, beyond sectors, disciplines and even dimensions (i.e. time and space)! In addition to a skills masterclass by Dr Steve Cross, which no doubt will be upbeat, funny and yet informative, you will also be able to practice what you’ve learnt right away with some facilitated live speed networking sessions with your fellow attendees within this event. There will also be a panel discussion with 3 current/former postdocs, Dr Joe Fennell, Dr Pooja Khurana and Dr Laura Pottinger, who will each bring their unique experience and insights to how to create and build networks that spans different sectors and themes.
Join UKNPAW for this special 5th anniversary event on Monday 16 September, 10am (expected run time just over 2 hours due to speed networking sessions).
