UKNPAW is turning 5 this year!

The flagship National Postdoc Appreciation Week event, “Into the Postdocverse – Building Relationships Across Dimensions,” will be held on the morning of September 16, 2024, marking the first day of National Postdoc Appreciation Week (NPAW). This year’s event promises a fresh approach, combining the usual skills-based session with an expert panel discussion and Q&A. This time, the sessions will be interactive, providing participants with an opportunity to apply their networking skills, engage with fellow attendees, and expand their professional networks beyond their immediate circles.

Although the registration platform is still under development, attendees are encouraged to save the date and regularly check the event website (tinyurl.com/UKPAW) for updates. For those unable to attend, the event will be recorded and made available online, as in previous years.

In celebration of the event’s fifth anniversary, additional support will be provided through CV advice and a careers clinic, available to postdocs and researchers in the UK and Republic of Ireland. This initiative, made possible through collaboration with partner institutions, aims to reach individuals who may not have easy access to these valuable resources. Stay tuned for further details.
