Win up to £30,000 funding through our Energy Storage Sandpit
The Centre for Postdoctoral Development in Infrastructure, Cities and Energy is offering postdoctoral researchers the opportunity to win up to £30k of funding through its third Sandpit, held between 4 and 20 May 2022.
The Sandpit will focus on the question of developing efficient and commercially viable short, medium and long term energy storage solutions that can be deployed widely to address the intermittency challenges of a fully integrated zero-carbon energy system.
The C-DICE sandpit is a unique opportunity for teams of postdoctoral researchers to develop collaborative research ideas to win ‘seed-corn’ funding to further develop their idea. It is open to all researchers with an interest in net-zero, including those who have a background in energy, materials science, engineering, economics, behavioural and social sciences, and public policy.
Closing application date: Monday 4 April 2022, 2pm.
